Next, I tried to install via the official Blizzard download and here things get really strange because I keep on getting the error that the cd is missing but this shouldn't really be a problem when using the installer.Īlso it's worth mentioning that I can start the game with patch 1.14b (installer) but get the error with 1.14d (manually patched and via B.net). Still, the same error although the disc was still in the cd-drive. I thought that maybe something went wrong after the upgrade so I just reinstalled the game via disc.
After the upgrade to Win 10 D2 won't run anymore because I get a CD-Drive error telling me I need to insert the disc. I had D2 installed on Win 7 and everything was fine.
